A rather talkative bartender, a slightly deviant and kleptomaniac cleaning lady and an absent-minded traveller cross paths in this collection of short stories. Each relating to a song on the album.

the buffalo skinners

I’ve had the honour of playing fender rhodes for The Buffalo Skinners from 2014 to 2018. We toured the UK, France, Germany, and wrote an album together, Cease your Dreaming, on which they let me put three of my own songs (again, an honour) “Come on home'“, “Sugar Cane” and “We gotta go”.

My first band with Ismaël Valente on bass, Olivier Clément on saxophone and Frédéric Chabord on drums. We stopped playing in 2013 but you can still listen to our ep here. Recorded by Chris Thorpe.
We went a little nuts when it came to finding an album cover. We decided to put up a 2x10m canvas on which we asked people to draw whatever they wanted. Then we spent quite a long time cutting that huge canvas into a thousand squares that we would then use as album covers. We even had a nightlong drunken brainstorming session that led us to finding a name for the whole thing:

With Simon Matard on lead guitar who also plays in Les Tire-Bouchons. We recorded a first ep just the two of us and later another one with Christophe Araboglou on bass and Martin Moroni on drums.
